Wylie Carpentry & Joinery is a family run
business with over 25 years experience
serving all customers in Caversham,
Reading, Henley on Thames and all
surrounding areas.
John started work as an apprentice joiner at
Walden and Son, Henley-on-Thames,
gaining his City & Guilds qualifications.
With 30 years experience, he then worked
for a number of construction companies
before deciding to start Wylie Carpentry and Joinery.
Working for smaller companies gave him the opportunity to turn his hand to other disciplines within
the building trade. First and foremost, he is a joiner, but he is also multi-skilled and can carry out
many other tasks to very high standards.
John spent 10 years working as a project manager for
refurbishment companies gaining an HNC in Building Studies. He was responsible for running
contracts from the initial client brief through to handover of the completed job.
We are able to provide references where required and will also
arrange viewings of our work where requested.
